When I was 11, I was told that my father died in a car accident. It wasn’t until 40 years later that someone told me that he actually committed suicide. I’m not 100% certain it would have changed much since he was a POS who left my mom and never gave her a penny, but I was annoyed nobody bothered.

I got rid of mine years ago and haven’t regretted it once. My wife will ask me “Did you hear that so-and-so did this thing?” and I reply “Nope” and that’s the end. It’s quite liberating, actually.

I like the Dunkin Donuts blueberry cake donut, but there's a local bakery that makes a better one and it is high on my list. I'm a recent convert to the Boston Creme myself, but I didn't get this big by being too picky about donuts.
