Yeah. I also think The Suburbs is still a great record. But in the same way that, like, I bonded with my wife over certain records when we first started dating, and now I associate those records with her, Win's history is part of the context of Arcade Fire albums that changes how I relate to them.

So i guess I came down here You can still love the art you love, even if it's tainted. You can break from it too. That weighing of emotional impact vs shittiness of deed is different for every artist & every person. Loving tainted works is a bittersweet part of the complicated human experience
