most likely multiple outlets have been working on neil gaiman abuse investigations, so it’s a shame the outlet scooping the gaiman allegations right now did so for the wrong reasons. both the matter of fact and the matter of publishing are terrible.

Basically all UK media is transphobic to some extent, and many, probably most celebrities support trans rights and are vaguely leftish. Is it certain that's a factor here? Is Tortoise more axe grinding than other oulets?

The original outlet is Tortoise media. I’ve just finished listening to the full podcast and their reporting is fair and equitable and their stated reasons for looking into it are admirable. I’ll also say that one of the accusers is my best friend, who told me of these allegations long ago.
