good morning my community,
A word of advice. You may be struggling with your feelings of shock with the Neil Gaiman allegations. Now is the time to process that conflict silently, in your own heart—not on the timeline where other survivors have to watch you struggle to believe.
Okay.

This is AWESOME. I was there when Bullet Club turned on Styles, and it remains one of my favourite live wrestling memories.

It is a weirdly sappy thought to have at the moment, but seeing these heroes I once placed on a pedestal revealed as, at their best, imperfect people just reminds me to appreciate the heroic "ordinary" people in my life.

It fucking infuriates me that they're poisoning the waters of an already shitty situation. Which seems to be par for the course with these scum, but still.

And, sure, he denies that accusation entirely—but the other person was his employee.

One of them was half his age when they started their relationship. As someone who dealt with an emotionally manipulative older person I met when I was younger, you'll forgive me if I've got a more-than-biased biased stance on this.

The outlet may be sketch, no doubt, but the established and agreed upon facts about the power dynamics aren't great either.

Even if the sources are in question, honestly, the established power dynamics at play here are already unsavoury enough, before you even get to the accusations themselves.

Friday's episode'll be shot in one of the oldest cemeteries in Singapore. Tomorrow's will be shot here.

The secret's out that we're shooting the second season of our talk show for the local national broadcaster. The show's a retrospective on a wonderfully cheesy horror anthology from the early 2000s. We've shot six episodes so far this week, with two more tomorrow and Friday.

I would totally bid for that Zoom session if we weren't about to drop a painfully large amount of cash on housing expenses. (Good luck to you, if you're bidding!)

Also, I was on a panel with Alan Quah last year at the Singapore Comic Con, and it was a joy to see how excited he is to be working here and there on Conan. It's great that everyone on these books clearly have such unabashed love for the character.

It shows! My god, does it show. Howard's stuff has been a blind spot in my reading habits and this team makes me want to finally jump into his Conan stories too.

I know you and the team already receive heaps of praise, but allow me to add a little more to those heaps. I've only dipped my toe into Conan's comics over the years. This is the first time I've regularly followed—and enjoyed!—one of his series for this long. Congratulations on your first year!

I know I'm putting in way more thought into a Jason Statham movie than I should, but I think the most insidious thing about THE BEEKEEPER is that it's a movie whose central premise rests on the idea of correcting corrupt power structures, while still perpetuating the idea of a moral politician.

And, look, I know that most of the mass media we consume isn't produced by angels, but being this blatant about it feels almost insulting.

I enjoy both THE BOYS and THE BEEKEEPER, but the fact that they parody or villainise corporations and the tech industry—while being produced by Amazon—really reminds me just how grimly insidious pop culture can be nowadays.

My publisher's at ALA too! If you have the time and would like to pick something up from Southeast Asia, she's at Booth 1547, under Diamond. This is the book I co-created. differenceengine.sg/comics/work-...

This might be a hot take but butter cookies are so good that aliens would assume this was for our kings and not just for any jackass who is standing in line at the grocery store and says “ah, what they hay”
