Oh boy... this is the big one. If they internalize this, I mean REALLY get it, former military can be genuinely great. If they don't, it's a problem that at best is annoying and at worst is huge. IME almost always the tell tale is how much they enjoy and embrace being a civilian.

Housing getting destroyed and insurance being unavailable at any price seems like a strong incentive to get into base housing as soon as possible. In the long run it might be wise to strategically retreat from Florida ala Rome abandoning Dacia and let the sea and Everglades take it.

I feel this so hard. I had two during the Germany - Denmark game and another during my post game telephone call with my cousin. Awake at 2 AM groggy and dehydrated. Had two slices of pizza and a glass of water. Dragged out of bed at eight. Meeting at bar for the 3 o'clock game. I'm f*cked.
