Is the implication that the catastrophe model is backward looking and will underestimate the potential for catastrophe even as catastrophe continue to increase? How do you turn on future climate impacts?

The implication is that catastrophe models are designed to reflect current, present day risk. They do not "turn on" future climate impacts. You cannot price on future risk. So it won't be: turn on models, dust off hands, all problems fixed. Risk is still increasing, and will continue to increase.
