I’m ok with it because to me, it would be like MLK Jr demanding that LBJ come out against anti-miscegenation laws during the ‘64 campaign. The best thing for the trans community right now is for Biden to win, and with the Overton Window where it is re us, I think their position is understandable

LBJ didn’t come out against anti-miscegenation laws, but he also didn’t kinda sort halfway come out for them. Biden could have simply said nothing on the subject, or that it was none of his business. That was an option. This is absolute cowardice.
