my idea for a firework alternative is one single rocket that leaves a big multicolor cloud trailed across the sky & explodes when it’s far too high up to hear. it’s big & pretty, silent & safe, way more environmentally friendly than thousands of smaller fireworks, and no smell* *i like the smell

falsely accusing people of transphobia is going to get you some pushback. defending those who are anti-Palestinian is going to get you some pushback. it doesn’t matter if you’re homeless or housed, anti-social behavior is going to get you some pushback.

not just that but if any cis person calls out a problematic trans person then it automagically makes them transphobic. when in reality, only a cis ally would call out trans people just as they would a cis person. because we don’t want to be put on pedestals, we want equal and fair treatment.

because as a trans person who exists in trans spaces, i know of extremely few trans folks who would go out of their way to delegitimize someone else’s gofund me or even let that kinda behavior be seen as acceptable. because many people need crowdfunding to survive.
