Because SCOTUS does matter a ton to whatever substantive issues you care about—climate, economic justice, civil rights, abortion, LGBTQ+ issues, disability rights, you name it. So making court reform one of your priorities in choosing & influencing politicians isn’t deprioritizing other issues.

In “everything else follows from that,” I mean the practical actions you should take follow from having the Court in mind as a priority. Those actions are “everything else.” I didn’t mean, e.g., that environmental issues are “everything else” & are subordinate to caring about the Court.
