One of the surreal joys of the internet - all these people I know in the Northern Hemisphere prepping for heat waves and I'm just looking out of the window going 'eh, it's drizzling again, yay summer I guess.'

I feel this way in October and March when it's still a semitropical climate and still quite warm, and everybody else is wearing sweaters and talking about being cozy.
