People act like GenAI is going to be making movies in a few months meanwhile google home isn't even programmed to play songs I've listened to and liked before and instead picks a random nightcore sped up version of a song I requested.

Yeah, if I ask Alexa to play a song, it always tries to follow it with a second, completely different one. It at least will play Paradise or Chasing Cars for me while I'm brushing my teeth, but then I hear some harsh loud thing starting & I have to yell "Alexa stop" & splatter toothpaste everywhere.

I was helping an author make ads for a book launch and he told me his entire plan hinges around using Sora to make sick book trailers in a few months I was like, “That probably won’t happen and you should have a backup plan”
