That's an interesting question. I've always considered that it is in the National Park area (in which case, no dogs) but I just went to double check on DOC and it's unclear whether it is or not. It's an absolutely stunning redoubt though so I hope you get to visit, either with or without your kuri!

Yeah we're researching the border and haven't found an official map yet. I think the road is the boundary but need to confirm it.
