Yeah making awesome movies every week doesn't mean people have more time and money available to go see all of them. Consumer demand is a big limiting factor (though disillusionment will reduce demand for sure)

There's two ways that AI can get people "hooked": either it's just so gosh darn fun to use, or it actually makes you more productive. I don't think AI is seriously a threat to anyone unless the latter ends up being true.

If my brain says "I like men, and I like being a man" there's no problem unless other people are making it a problem. If my brain says "I don't like being a man" and my body is manly, well I either have to change my body, or change my mind. But that's for the individual to sort out.

Let me know if this is a shitty take, but I like to pretend we all share a single time traveling soul and that a bit of body dysphoria is totally natural. That's just a way to imagine things though, the fact is sometimes a person's brain is wired in a way that doesn't match the rest of their body.

I wonder how common it is for artists/entertainers to have fans trying to talk them into finding ways to use AI to increase the amount of work they're able to produce for the fan's consumption. I feel like I've been a little guilty of that.

I think it will be the consumers who's altered expectations will make it difficult for the workers to do anything other than run AI models to generate what their customers want. It should take a couple years before consumers start finding it odd when workers could use AI but choose not to.

I'm not aware of how much actual violence scammers actually perpetrate, so much as they create an atmosphere of insecurity that keeps their target on edge and unable to question what's going on. But... yeah I hope things go well. Don't make any mistakes that will cause you more headache later.

I think there's people who aren't great at expressing their ideas (written, graphically, musically, etc) who can contribute more by amplifying their voice through an AI model. People who like what AI has to offer are typically already used to being looked down on.
