I certainly don't want a labour landslide or we will be back in the position we're in now. We need alternative parties to contribute, including as many independents as possible to gain seats. I detest labour under its current management, so to ensure a fairer democracy & not another dictatorship.

Realistically, I agree, but those of us on the left aren't really in a position to build an alternative until after the GE anyway. (And council elections are probably the starting point there outside very specific local conditions).

I agree, we need a robust democracy with a functional opposition. I would like people to vote tactically to ensure they don't wind up with a Tory (or G*d forbid Reform) MP. What I don't want is people deciding they can't be arsed to vote at all and letting the bastards back in through low turn-out.
