My friend just yesterday was telling me about their trip to the corner sandwich shop where the server was wearing a molon labe shirt. Maybe it’s me but I think a guy who’s supposed to bring you your blt+avocado on seedy bread wearing a ‘come and get it’ shirt is hilarious

The only way to make any sense of this is if you literally used to/still do work in an illicit drug lab and you’re mad at the inaccuracies introduced for the purposes of Good Storytelling. I’m the same way about depictions of minor government functionaries

Two sets of sheets. Or, two sets of summer sheets and two sets of winter sheets if you're going to be a total sybarite. Completely removes the friction around changing sheets knowing you have a whole LAUNDRY_INTERVAL to wash them instead of some number of hours less than 10 (realistically)

Batteries seem to last about a year? I dunno. I do generally leave all the motion alert stuff off because I live in apartment building closest to the main entrance. Doesn’t seem neighborly to keep records of my neighbors’ comings and goings.
