If it was a large schlubby guy and a petite attractive woman, nobody would have written word one about it - in fact, they've built multiple TV series around that concept... I think it's obvious the angle they're going for, and it's not fair to the actress.

Right!? I think it's a truth universally acknowledged that Jack Black & John Goodman are hot. I never heard anyone say "but they're fat". That was always PART OF IT. Big chonky hotties. Big chonky women: same. 💖
