Of course the law can be -- and often is -- weaponized against marginalized people. This is not an argument against prosecuting a career criminal who happens to be the GOP nominee. Will Republicans retaliate? Almost certainly! But they were going to do that *anyway*.

Even more reason not to be complacent. Again, I have to ask why you think I oppose prosecuting Trump? To be clear I'm talking about the people posting "I obey all the rules and *know* I *can't* be prosecuted". That doesn't help anything and makes GOP retaliation likely to be more effective.
