To be honest, I haven't seen anybody criticizing these women, or even doubting the things they actually state. I've seen a lot of questioning that focuses on how those claims are mediated by the "journalists" who are representing the story, and the *choices* those journalists are making.

criticizing the source is damaging to the victims because it creates a dynamic where your story is damaged, even if true, because some nobody online thinks the outlet you spoke to is bad actually
