I recall some aids or staffers said that he was talking about being a one term president, and he said that he didn't have plans to limit himself to one term before winning a term. I didn't think HE ever came out and said it, but his staff might have floated a few trial balloons.

What's your motivation? Right now in MN natural gas is still so much cheaper than electricity that it's (generally) not cost effective to switch. That said I wish I switched before I got my roof done, and had solar panels put on...

Just for fun I asked an older white coworker (gen-x probably) how to do a hand signal for "stop" Turns out he doesn't know the difference between "stop" and "black power" and we'll probably all need to attend a seminar put on by HR.

So 83% of the time it's drivers fault, 13% of the time it's the pedestrians fault, and 3% of the time it's a cyclists fault. Didn't have told to spin up a pie chart of that, but I think the visual would drive the point home more.

Found and SD card in the sand on the beach when we were camping... Just got it plugged in, mostly nature photos, but some selfies with people in them. exif data had an email address on it (google show that it belongs to some one who is not in the photos), so we'll see...

Ironically the streets around my house have all recently been repaved... many of the bike paths would see an improvement if they switched to wash-boarded gravel. Some of the newer ones have weeds pushing up through the asphalt destroying them. Though I did get out on them with the mountain bike:

Simple experiment... ask 10 random people, drivers license holders, what the hand signals are for right, left, and stop. As a cyclists, it's not safe to act like a vehicle, because the people we entrust to operate motor vehicles don't know how vehicles that aren't cars act.

Lost my internet connection, both wired and wireless devices. and my cellphone on mobile data. Restarted switches, access points, modem appeared fine the whole time and direct wiring to that worked (sans DHCP cause my modem doesn't handle that). Then everything came back, for seemingly no reason.

The real problem here is the lack of a mandate for consistent reporting from fastfood restaurants on the state of the country. We need a simple API we can query across all fast food chain (waffle house, whataburger, McDonalds, etc) to track the state of the nation.

Every democrat in office calling for Biden to drop out should be facing questions over why they didn't run in the primaries, or have some one else run. Why they thought Biden wasn't old when it was repeated, ad nauseam in every publication in the country for multiple years now.

Biden was beatable in the primaries, they choose to run no one, now they are angry about it; tough shit. They could have run against Biden, they opted not to, the parties stretched the elections to be a year long, can't decide you only want a 4 month campaign cycle after dragging it out to a year.

Trump was ill prepared to be president the first time around, most of his term was one scandal pushing another scandal out of the news cycle. Don't get me wrong he is equally ill equipped this time around, but the federalist society and heritage foundation are drafting paperwork for his signature.

My buddy runs a small dumpster company, he is regularly called about getting bagsters that waste management wouldn't take for whatever reason. His trucks are smaller so he can often get them when they can't, or he drops a bin and people need to move stuff over by hand.

I get that biden isn't the ideal candidate... but I'm struggling to understand how to save democracy we need to ignore the primary election results and just have a few national convention delegates pick who is going to be the nominee. Feels like maybe that is doing the opposite of saving democracy.

I'm not going to pretend to remember the election that well... But looking at Wikipedia, and doing some quick math, ~32k votes across NV, NM, & IA would have swung that election. but the GOP back then wasn't quiet as reactionary as the trump party of today.

Got parts ordered, talked myself (and more importantly my wife) into a new hub since I'm going to be rebuilding the wheel with all new (matching) spokes anyhow. Combination of a better free wheel, and the belt drive should be super quiet... Still need to pull and destress the wheel tonight...
