Lyndee and I went to high-school together, and I've known her husband Chris for over a decade at this point. They let me live with them rent-free for more than a year when I was at my lowest, and I can genuinely say that without their love and support, I would not be here.

I mean it, it would be a grief that we carried as a community forever. About the therapist, could you ask your mom to handle the logistics for that? I've definitely had people make appointments on my behalf before, the therapist won't think anything of it.
