Reform overperforming, also strong in 2nd places. Curtice confirms the Tories lost this election more than Lab won. It's only going to get worse over the next 5 years as conditions continue to be squeezed & Lab look set to quietly maintain austerity politics. There must be an alternative by then.

The more I consider the establishment clause, the more I am worried it's yet another example of America building on sand. So many of the protracted constitutional battles come from the fact that the document really isn't well written, nor are its amendments, nor the body of precedent following.

Does it specify the context? It could be an opportunity for schools to educate their classes on the history of the separation of church & state, or to encourage the children to ask the sort of questions the religious right would prefer not to have asked.

This is a beautiful victory, but he never should've been in prison. He has suffered greatly for the almost 50 years he has been imprisoned. Leonard and his sisters are residential school survivors too, he has had a life of trauma. I am overwhelmed with emotions. Crying tears of joy and anger.

Instead we don't even get a full season of plot, we get about a quarter and then the studio fucks up the second season because of corporate interference and/or cancels the third season. Netflix is a graveyard of ideas.

I think 16 year olds should get the vote, but I also think Labour's entire rationale here is that they're going to be treated much more harshly at the 2029 election and want to create a whole cadre of loyal new voters who don't want to risk being disenfranchised again.
