Brian Steel files a motion on behalf of his client Young Thug (Jeffery Williams) asking for Judge Glanville to recuse. (He will not grant it, but the refusal could be the basis of a mandamus petition.)

Really looking forward to a podcast 4-part explainer on this trial, which then has addendums and extra episodes with actual experts and new revelations, and then develops into a full time job for the host as they dig into corruption in that court. Are podcasts the replacement for local journalism?!?

"Goaded" in this context means that Steel is arguing that all charges should be dismissed with jeopardy attached, which sets his client is free with no retrial allowed.

The response from the prosecution, when it comes, should be extremely interesting.
