Wanted to let you know I appreciate this writing and your conclusions. I'm a Christian and have thought quite a bit about Job through the years - just like everyone should! I've added the Greenstein's translation book you referenced to my reading list.

I am irreligious (at best) most days, but fascinated by it in its countless iterations nonetheless. Thank you for that piece, it does help, an unexpectedly great amount at that. (And what horrible prescience you display in it.)
