Seriously. It's the model minority fallacy on a global scale: humans, seeing the horrors of which humanity is capable, each want to be able to prove to their god or some future aliens that they were "one of the good ones."

i'd argue that people who do zero introspection about their impact on others ARE bad people- but law school broke my brain in some specific ways
