Well also that they’re not safe by current federal safety standards. We don’t let GM for example sell a “bigly” truck in Americanthat doesn’t meet these same Federal standards. There are millions of vehicles produced around the world that aren’t legal in the US for just such reasons.

Actually, we allow a lot of uberbigly trucks that are more dangerous to pedestrians than they used to be, simply because they're too bigly, too tall, too heavy, too flat on the front. The shame is that half the folks that buy them don't use them and are only throwing money after ego.
