whatever labelers end up doing turning up in the future, this is the most important thing to be mindful of imo. the entire idea of composable moderation is that you get to mix and match specialized labelers, not that labelers need to be a community-led amateur T&S team. that is bluesky's job.
the ONLY argument ive seen against this is that you can apparently only subscribe to some finite (but large) number of labelers and like... that seems like a fixable technical issue with the platform itself, not a conceptual issue with how labelers should exist
i dont 'want' to run some kind of moderation service and i doubt i'm the right kind of person for it anyways but if i could do something to help organize one i'd love to hear it.
