Friend told me recently I look like hell rolled me over. Haven't had that before. Sleep isn't great. Been irritable. College, work, sidework. Housework. Disassociating quite a bit. Hoping my wife gets this job. Haven't been fighting enough for my own time I think.

I'm wondering how I address this eventually when it comes time to do so. Soft encouragement towards pursuing that which brings you fulfillment and positivity. "What's the point?" Is probably the follow up. From there it'd be a projection of how I tackled it but lord knows how well that'd fly.

I'm glad I made it here. I get to see my friends each, slowly, take on the wear of love well-earned. The shoulders they bury their faces in. The fingertips under their jaw. Wet thumbs. It all stays. A gentle rounding off. A warm patina. I'm glad we made it here.

I still use the USB condenser mic that @lollie.me picked out for me. Doubt I'll ever get rid of that. May supplement it with an SM57 just to see how that sounds though.

I've only ever used stock Reason and a couple sample packs mostly so plug-ins are a new thing for me. Definitely helping me see how some artists get certain sounds though

I'm gonna have to live with the knowledge that the first thing I did upon ever taking a stage was unthinkingly throwing out the Sailor Moon pose for a photo, getting it so wrong my wife had to show me a picture, and doing it again. This suits me.

Joining a band because it'd be good for me to learn from others, put structure to my practice, and work in a mode that I'm not used to: ehh... Joining a band as an excuse to play guitar loudly and because I want to hit a big big drum: now we're talkin' The former followed afterwards but still.
