I don;t have exact numbers for job B, but after factoring in extra travel since job A is further away and 5 days a week, plus higher insurance, we're in the $2500-3500 difference. Wild card being if I can stay on my wife's health insurance (she has a spousal excluson policy in play for job A).

Job A: Pay is better, but the benefits are not as good and insurance is more expensive. Job B: Closer to home and it offers two remote days per week, so less time in the car. Salary is less, but due to insurance costs take home could end up fairly even.

We will never know for sure, but our best guess is that today is this little girl's birthday. Found her on New Year's Eve cold, scared, and hungry on our porch. They said she was about 6 months then, but now she is thriving. Nebula has made it to a year old and probably wouldn't have without us.

Not really travel ball. More of an inner city Indy league that worked out a summer weekend trip to other inner city leagues. We played 3 games up here last year. This year our league director had us play in Chicago yesterday and Milwaukee today. We are the support parents.

What level of dad did I achieve tonight? Son had baseball in Milwaukee that ended at roughly 6pm local/7 Indy time. Rather than drive 4.5 hours back my wife was able to call in tomorrow so we just got a hotel where we can enjoy the weather, not rush back, and have a Spotted Cow.
