I truly do not understand. At least with feral cats, they were strays to start. Abandoning a kitty you already have is so evil.

Our not-so-little-anymore guy, Jack, was under six pounds when we rescued him, just skin and bones. Four months later he's almost doubled in weight! He's such a sweetie, I can't stand to think of him out on the streets of small-town Wisconsin in the middle of winter. 😭 Really grateful he's with us!

Girlfriend and I have 5 cats (completely my doing tbh). We think 2 and maybe 3 of them were abandoned by humans before we got them. It makes me so angry whenever I think about it. They are so sweet, and taking a vulnerable animal who depends on you and dumping them is just unadulterated wickedness.

Gracie the Street Cat was abandoned when her family moved away - she spent 2 years living in a parking lot and eating moldy food people sometimes left out. Now she is a queen, she has everything she could ever want. The best part? She trusts us.
