Not just shampoo! It works for any soap in a bottle! And if you add some water it at the halfway point, it doesn't feel diluted at all.

My family always diluted 50/50 and kept an empty bottle to use from the start. Still feels a bit odd not to

I umm thought this was normal. Huh. Otherwise it is wasteful. I mean the bottles, pumps, and other lids are inefficient.
