The one thing that sucks there is that he’ll have to go under one more time for x-rays at his 8-week checkup, but that’s September’s problem

In the past 3 hours or so , the situation has moved from “this feels absolutely hopeless” to “this sucks but I can see it will get better.” Think the remaining after effects of the anesthesia were the biggest hangup

An emerging storyline here is that he (understandably) wants to stick to established routines, some of which involve rules that he’s made up himself, which apparently includes “the back yard is the toilet, the front yard is unacceptable even if it’s much easier to get to right now”
