*As fresh I mean - something that wasn't tackled in earlier adaptations or tackled in that specific way. I'm aware that some of these things originate from the comic books or the cartoons, but in the movie it was adapted nicely!

I was very afraid about that one since it was supposed to be another "origin" story, but it was freaking amazing - mostly because there was a lot of fresh takes on almost everything regarding Turtles mythos.

It's Nightwing #78-83, 87-91, Superman: Son of Kal-El #9 and Annual from 2021! Sadly, there's an error printed on the back that says it's #78-91 in case of the Nightwing (publisher decided to omit Fear Sate tie-in issues).

After long time of anticipation, Nightwing from @tomtaylormade.bsky.social, @brunoredondo.bsky.social and others finally premiered in Poland in thick 2in1 tpb! Happy to have and still buying the whole series both in floppies and now in my local edition!

I only played the first one on Amiga. I never beated it but still was a lot of fun. Remember being amazed by seeing screenshots of the sequel in a video game magazine back in the day.

Inspired by @pochodnia.bsky.social I created Letterboxd profile and it turns out that I visited cinema 20 times so far this year, which is quite a record in my case! I even think it's much more than in pre-pandemic years.

I don't recall to be a witness of something that would later be wide-spread meme, but I think YouTube maybe? As for viral videos that would inspire to do lots of edits based on it, maybe. I'm also thinking about message boards back in the early 2000.

W każdym razie, zdecydowanie topka filmowych Żółwi, chociaż tak naprawdę konkurencja bywała najczęściej taka sobie. (oryginalne live action nie jest wcale tak dobre, jak pamiętasz) (choć rzeczywiście było jednym z lepszych)

Bałem się dużo o ten film, bo jak tylko usłyszałem, że to ZNOWU opowieść o młodości Żółwi i pierwszej akcji poza kanałami, to miałem "meh". Ale twórcom udało się dodać sporo fajnych świeżych rzeczy, przez co nie czułem, jakbym oglądał ósmy raz to samo.
