Embracing my inner sloth. Fuelled by coffee, chocolate and gin. Crafty as. Winter is for hibernating.
Think I forgot to hibernate for the winter. Or something. Maybe I'm no longer holding charge and I need to be updated. Because by God I am tired and no amount of sleeping is fixing whatever needs to be reenergised.

There were two that were my responsibility when I was still at home: the 3/4 hour, and the chocolate self saucing.

My flatmate in uni days agreed to a deal... I cook these, she cleaned the loo.

Good grief, this lot in charge here is determined to turn us back to bad ole days of yore! I've just heard the Bish thinks there's no need for minimum sized apartments.... been there done that in Auckland 20 years ago. AND learned the lessons the hard way.
Or not, if you're NACT

Goes back to previous Nat govt stating there was no housing crisis as they closed / sold off huge numbers of state housing and people / families were sleeping in cars

Highly likely I'm late to this party!
I'm watching the new season of Sweet Tooth. There's who I think the captain of the boat sailing out of Nag's Reef. I have to play it back a few times because.... "OMG... it's Lionel!! Look <hubby>, it's Lionel!!!"

I am a women who has used a men's bathroom in desperation (long long queues for "my" bathroom). I doubt anyone gave a second thought when they saw me beelining for the cubicle or the exit. Seriously, when people go to pee, is anyone really looking at anyone else??

In the slightly arrogant POV of this is what I saw, so I shall choose to remember it this way, I'd like to think we showed them life can be celebrated, amid the mourning. Not all things require Full Somber.

The Dutch cousins reflected how they enjoyed hearing of the stories, and back at their house, with hubby newly arrived, there was much laughter amid the tears as they exchanged the very many hilarious parts of Ed's life.
The step mother's histrionics were forgotten briefly

Encountered a Nederlands funeral many years ago. Kiwi husband at work in US, couldn't make it back in time. Kiwi BIL from the states arrived from US and spoke. His was the *only* touch of humour, which really represented the person. It was quite surreal - used to the person's life being celebrated

Ugh .... one of those is the centre I'm registered at. Last time I saw an actual dr was to discuss menopause and potential options. I was told to google my symptoms and to stop drinking tea.
My brain fritzed: I was convinced a medical degree trumped google, but there you go.
$65 for that advice

Amid the shit show that Ukriane and Gaza are, the hellstorm our NACT govt bring to our NZ shores, there's a 2 or 3 minute window on a Sunday night that I catch occasionally: Good Sorts at the end of one news.
When I see it, I get reminded that there really are good peeps out there, doing good stuffπ©·

C) the fact Republicans are prepared to back him rather than a decent candidate speaks volumes. They have no moral fibre and they're morons and they have no decency

Some ... and a very loud minority form that some... couldn't handle being told by a female leader that actions were good for us as a whole and required individuals to get jabbed etc. They did this at parliament. They were worse than assholes.

What the Actual F*ck??! How can the Republicans stand by a convicted felon let alone the ordinary American and let that felon be President??!
Hoping the ordinary American will see sense, because the Republicans don't. And I know that hope is likely misplaced. And this world is one effd up rock
