Almost one of the last conversations I had with my dad was that he should wear a bike helmet. He didn't, went over his handlebars and was in an induced coma for 10 days. Yeah, he recovered, but, ya know... after being in a coma for 10 days

Just had an incident where my bike slipped on a wet bridge, handlebar went hard left, causing me to fall and either my bike seat or handlebars smashing into the back of my helmet. Ended up sitting on the bridge for a minute thinking about 1. That sucked 2. That could have been farrrr worse
