Thanks. Was VERY lucky that someone wasn't riding nearby behind me. Because the slick bridge means they wouldn't have been able to stop. At that point, the helmet prob would have been the least of my worries, but, still glad I had it!

Just had an incident where my bike slipped on a wet bridge, handlebar went hard left, causing me to fall and either my bike seat or handlebars smashing into the back of my helmet. Ended up sitting on the bridge for a minute thinking about 1. That sucked 2. That could have been farrrr worse

Almost one of the last conversations I had with my dad was that he should wear a bike helmet. He didn't, went over his handlebars and was in an induced coma for 10 days. Yeah, he recovered, but, ya know... after being in a coma for 10 days

I was biking through a roundabout recently. Going straight through. A car got into the roundabout a little before me and started correctly going to the right. They then questioned their move and SLAMMED on their brakes, almost causing me to smash into them. They backed out and went left.
