Beat the final boss of Elden Ring's expansion pack, and it's probably the hardest boss fight I've had to deal with in any video game that I can recall. Rewarding myself with lunch and some Star Trek: Lower Decks to dump the cortisol.

I was in the USA for 8 years studying, was asked to work on a tv show. Went with an immigration attorney, spent a ton of money, got glowing references from people including Grammy winners, basically fulfilled all the requirements. Only to be denied my O-1 because I'm not an A-lister.

kids these days have easy access to the internet from their phone we had to access the internet through a PC, uphill both ways in the snow dealing with packet loss, and if someone actually picked up a phone...our game disconnected.
