I feel like the Democrats could go on the offensive against SCOTUS and it would be a good play politically (and morally). They've done a bunch of unpopular things for unpopular reasons and packing the court may be more popular than not.

Found the article. He was merely Chairman of the Board for Latrobe Die Casting (which was his father's investment, not sure how much he owned) and it was an apple tree, not a cherry tree.

I always liked when they'd talk to my boss (a woman with tattoos and dyed hair), then ask me (conservative looking white guy) when she didn't give them what they wanted. It was satisfying to see their faces scrunch up when I'd say "Ask my boss" and gesture to the woman they were just talking to.

The media has really gone all in on pushing for things to happen that make easy stories to write. "Candidates give speeches" is hard to make intereating and informative, whereas Biden backing out and the drama of the open convention creates stories that write themselves.
