To finish the biscornu, I needed two decorative beads to put in centre of the top and bottom. Luckily, there's a bead store very close to my home. And they happened to have the perfect beads for the purpose!

I want to fill my biscornu with wadding on top and rice at bottom to make it heavier so it sits firmly on the table. So I sewed layers of wadding sheet onto the top piece of the biscornu; that should hold the wad neatly in place while I sew it and finish filling it.

I'd forgotten to buy one of the colours of floss I need for this one, but luckily I managed order it and get it before I finished embroidering the other colours - the store is only just far enough that it was cheaper to order it by post than to go there myself.
