if i cant spread the butter at room temperature then i know something is off. with ice cream it tastes off and makes me feel a bit sick. my best guess is some of the emulsifiers or thickening gels they use in copious quantities.

the culture shock of coming to usa from canada and being *unable* to find real dairy products except through trial and error has been very frustrating. butter is the worst because its such a staple for me, but real ice cream is just outright impossible to find i've noticed.

in order to protect their bottom line because they are still a publicly traded company. it's good that we call nintendo out when they've crossed our line. to say that makes them an evil company when theyre actually one of the most consumer friendly and nicest companies to work for in the industry 5/

they just can not afford as a company to play around. we're lucky that they have gotten more lenient in the past decade and instead should give them props for that. theyre in a uniquely difficult position where they HAVE to aggressively defend their IP much more than any other company save disney 4/

nintendo as a games company is very unique. their revenue is based almost entirely off of their ip and unlike most other companies in the industry, they never had the option to be lenient with it. fan games, streaming, uploading ripped music, all of it is copyright infringement. 2/
