I ended up canceling my OneDrive sub and installing Linux after i tried saving a Steam screenshot locally and it wouldn't work because OneDrive was paused. I feel like fiddling to make Linux work isn't as bad as having shit shoved down my throat.

Holy shit what ever happened to my discover feed. I woke up and it suddenly looks like a trash Twitter feed. I tried blocking a bunch more words and couldn't get it back to how it was. What happened to my wholesome cats, birds and flowers pictures 😭

I needed a mental health screen break yesterday so i installed a mirror I've had in storage ever since moving here, and now I'm thinking it could use it's own lighting. I still have led strips i can use, but i don't wanna run wires on the wall, it'd ruin the vibe. Any ideas on batteries for this?

Last time i used windows i couldn't save a local copy of my steam screenshots because OneDrive wasn't running. I turn it off while gaming cause it's bloatware. Turns out my entire documents folder was just OneDrive so i couldn't save anything to it without OneDrive running. I installed Linux then.

I finally got around to finishing the custom cooler for my laptop. It's made to fit my laptop snugly, and uses a Noctua fan connected through a PWM dimmer. The wood is from the dollar store and cost less than 10$. It looks and works even better than expected. 🤩

I did the mistake of signing up to a credit reporting service, thinking "eh why not, it can't hurt" only to get spammed by weekly emails from said service with emails that were impossible to unsub from because they were "transactional emails" I had to report them as spam

My eyesight somehow improved and the proximity to my monitor was causing a fish eye effect and giving me headaches, so i filled in the "hole" in my desk. This places me further away for less eye strain, AND more desk space. Win-win! 😻

Friendly reminder to feed your cats wet food at least once a day, not only will it make them happier cats, it'll also make them healthier. Cats get dehydrated on hard food alone, which leads to all kind of health issues like trouble using the litter and pooping on the floor instead. 🐈

It's alive! Muahahahaha! 10$ diy clock kit, lithium cell, USB c charger and battery protection board, and dc-dc step up board. All mounted to a tiny piece of dollar store plywood. Was a really fun project, and it worked on the first power up! 😍
