To explain it, as I said. States can’t handle the number of migrants/refugees coming in. GOP will not let Biden get any, let alone a humane immigration bill thru. Doing nothing helps no one and will be used against him by Trump. The EO buys him time until we all vote him a Congress that can do more.

Do you feel opening the border wider will go over well with most voters? Right now my very liberal state has announced they have no more room and will have to move to a triage system, placing some on a waiting list. Making them homeless. This is a very real problem, not propaganda.

Boomers aren’t going to be affected by a Trump presidency anywhere near as much as young people are. No one is campaigning on better nursing homes. It’s young people’s futures that are at stake: access to abortion, birth control, worker’s rights, minority rights, tuition forgiveness, climate change.
