The Warren Court did some bare minimum civil rights work and the conservative legal movement acted like the judiciary was the communist boogie man for 60 years until the current configuration.

Well, anything that might call into question what conservatives believe to be natural hierarchies is tantamount to communism. Which would be laughable were they not successful in their decades-long quest to recodify those hierarchies.
