I walked into a coffee shop in Maine that I had never been in before and the barista was like "Hi James." Apparently I met him 15 years ago when he carried my bags to a hotel and he remembered my smile. He said I gave him a CD and told him to never give up on his music.

Black raspberries in Vermont. Completely different flavor than blackberries. Some parts of the country might know them as blue raspberries (but they taste absolutely nothing like a Blue Raspberry popsicle.)

Every word that means "actually, factually true" has over time been reduced to basically being a word to use for emphatic effect. I really love cheese, I truly love cheese. There is zero reason not to expect that literally would follow the same course as every other similar word.
