I remember there was these discussions back in the day. Some people felt that games should be scored to a curve with an equal number being <5 as >5. Edge's position was that it was an absolute scale, and few games are so flawed that they deserve a failing score.

Pythagoras and Parmenides (a couple of centuries before Eratosthenes) knew that the Earth was spherical so the fact that the sun rises/sets a different times depending on where you are on the sphere follows logically.

Exactly, from what I understand it has to do with a new regulation coming in effect in 2024 that prevents companies from combining data from different services, e.g. Instagram with Facebook. And as Threads is using Instagram accounts it may fall foul of this.
