If ur just starting to use linux for the first time, I'd try either mint or kde neon, both run off of Debian and are quite beginner friendly. You can also try endeavorOS, which is basically arch linux with stuff like a DE and essential apps already all set up for you, and it's very easy to install.

Also, just a word of advice, most of ur windows programs aren't going to run natively on Linux, your gonna need to learn how to use Wine and Lutris a lot, and even then some stuff like photoshop just can't run on it. For games, Steam already has a built-in compatibility layer called proton.
