I kind of think if they'd told Keith, "This sounds great! You can have 12 issues, and we'll collect it up like WATCHMEN. And if it sells well you can do more! But it's a tale of the Legion's possible future, not the regular Legion book," I think it'd have worked better. But maybe Keith wouldn't...
