What I’ve seen from 3D printing with the most advanced machines like the Bambu X1C tell me it is possible with technology similar to what makes routers for woodworking possible. The problem is yes cost, but also less desire for mod kits for beds/blades suited for fabric, cuz no sewing peeps in it.

They exist only for manufacturing. It’s more Like a 3D printer. You insert the shape/design and it runs the knife in the pattern according to the program. Like a laser cutter but safe for things like pleather. Home versions exist for every material but fabric, I can tell it’s cuz it’s for “girls”
