Except writing alt text tends to do nothing but diminish the work and provide no real information. Not disagreeing just acknowledging how pointless it feels when a beautiful picture gets reduced to less then a sentence. This is where Ai might be helpful

You’re not trying to “recreate” the art in words though, the point is to include blind/low vision/neurodivergent/etc people in the context and conversation. I’d highly recommend you learn more about alt text and its history and how it’s used, see the replies to my post for people sharing more info.
