The media, and I guess political scientists now, need to avoid the impulse to give Trump’s indefensible behavior a pass because he has been behaving indefensibly for a long time now
To the extent that any focus needs to be on Biden, I would say it’s also about stressing the totality of an administration. Is either candidate going to be up to the job? Maybe not! But what will the government look like under them? Who will be doing the day to day work? That matters a lot!
Respectfully, Kevin, I don't think you understood my point. Trump is a nonstarter for many of us. After the debate, the issue is whether the median voter is more likely to support Kamala Harris or Biden, and I think it is nuts not to have this conversation, given what we all saw.
