The Fearless One by Lori Foster. A coworker said it was a fantastic mystery. It was a broody dude, a woman with an “awful” past which was just getting slapped. That sounds bad but she made it sound like she survived literal hell. And so much talking about them maybe having sex one day.

Like chapters of it. I don’t care if you have sex or not. But ffs it’s a book, we don’t need multiple discussions over several chapters when everyone is consenting adults. It just ended up being poorly written romance with no mystery
